Lufkin, Tx (Fox 51) — Lufkin authorities are investigating a Wednesday accident further after a man allegedly jumped onto a moving vehicle.

According to police reports, shortly before 11:30 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 2400 block of Davisville Road on reports of a pedestrian accident.

When authorities arrived at the scene, they were told by a woman that a man, who was the driver's boyfriend, intentionally dove onto and damaged her vehicle while she was driving.

The man suffered a one inch by one inch abrasion to his leg and was taken to a local hospital. He was not able to provide any details on the incident before being taken away.

A report regarding the incident was filed and a follow up investigation will be conducted.

An offense of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon is listed on the report.
