Crime Stoppers of Lufkin wants your help identifying the suspect responsible for the burglary of a Lufkin-area convenience store.

Early on the morning of September 3, Angelina County Sheriff`s Office deputies responded to a burglar alarm at a convenience store, located on Highway 69 South in Lufkin, and discovered a broken window at the front of the building.

Further inspection of the building and a review of the business' security videos revealed that a white male forced his way into the building by climbing though an air conditioning vent in the building's roof. Once inside, the burglar loaded a shopping bag with cigarettes and then made his escape by using a dolly to break a window at the front of the building.

The security videos show that the man arriving at the business wearing a light-colored shirt, long pants, and a baseball cap, and a bandana to cover his face. When he arrived at and left from the business, he was carrying a backpack and walking with a dog that appears to be dachshund. The suspect must have changed clothes prior to climbing through the vent because video from inside the building shows that he was barefoot and wearing a dark-colored shirt and shorts but he continued using a bandana to cover his face.
