Longview Tiger Mart robbed at gunpoint

On June 1, 2010 at around 8:00 a.m., Longview Officers were dispatched to a robbery in the 3900 block of East Marshall Avenue.

Officers arrived and met with the victim, who was an employee of the Tiger Mart convenience store at 1929 East Marshall Avenue. The victim told officers that she had left the store before 8:00 a.m. with the bank deposit and was entering her vehicle, when a man armed with a handgun confronted her. The suspect entered the victim’s vehicle and forced her to drive to East Country Club at Redmon Road, where the suspect took the bank deposit and fled on foot. The victim was not injured.

Longview Officers and Harrison County Sheriff’s Deputies canvassed the area, but were unable to locate the suspect. He is described as a black male wearing a white t-shirt, dark colored hat and long pants. The suspect was armed with an unknown type handgun.
