Longview, Texas (FOX51) — The Longview Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) has scheduled a Policy Board meeting on Thursday, November 14 at 1:30 p.m.. in the Estes and Northcutt Rooms located in the Maude Cobb Convention Center, 100 Grand Blvd., to consider approval of the Metropolitan Area Boundary expansion adding Gladewater and a small portion of southeast Upshur County to the transportation planning area.
During the meeting, the Policy Board will consider approval of new members to the transportation board who will represent the expanded planning area. The board will also consider approval of the FY 2013 Annual Listing of federally obligated transportation projects. The MPO Policy Board is the top-level transportation planning committee providing both review and policy guidance for transportation planning in the Longview Metropolitan Area.
