Longview man found passed out in vehicle with stolen items
LONGVIEW — A Longview man remained jailed Tuesday afternoon after police said he was found "passed out" in someone else's vehicle and admitted to taking items from a residence.
Patrick Ryan Ross, 27, was being held on $25,000 bond, charged with burglary of a habitation, burglary of a vehicle, theft of a firearm and unlawful possession of a firearm by felon.
Police were dispatched at about 6 a.m. Monday to the 1700 block of West Hoyt Drive for a check-welfare call.
According to arrest reports, Ross was found passed out in the reporting party's vehicle and there were items in the vehicle that did not belong to him.
