Longview, tx — Two people are displaced after a fire damaged their duplex early Tuesday morning.
According to Longview fire officials, they received a call for help at around 1:05 a.m. When crews arrived at the scene on the 400 block of Tammy Lynn, they found fire and smoke billowing from the front windows of the building.
The blaze caused approximately $48,000 worth of damage to building before firefighters were able to extinguish the flames.
Officials believe the fire originated from a couch near the front window. The cause is unknown at this time.
Two people were displaced from the fire; one was treated on scene for minor smoke inhalation. No firefighters were injured.
