Longview bank robber on the loose

LONGVIEW — Several law enforcement agencies are searching for a man who robbed a bank in Longview Friday morning.

Officers responded to a bank alarm at around 10:40 a.m. in the 3100 Block of H G Moseley Parkway.

When police arrived, bank employees told them a white man possibly in his 30’s, wearing blue jeans, navy or black jacket, dark ball cap and small rimmed glasses walked into the bank. The suspect walked up to the teller window and handed the teller a note. He also showed the teller he had a semi-automatic handgun. The teller handed the robber an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect then left the bank in an unknown direction.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is also offering a reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect.
