Thursday morning fire in Bullard

Firefighters were busy Thursday morning with a house fire in the Bullard area. Smith County Fire officials tell Fox 51, the fire broke out around 4:00 a.m. in the 200 block of Summerset Court in Bullard.

LONGVIEW — Officials tell KETK crews on scene, a hitchhiker discovered the body around noon on Wednesday as he was walking along the westbound lanes of I-20 near a concrete barrier.

SMITH COUNTY — The homeowner tells KETK, he was in a shop behind the house when he noticed smoking coming from his home and called firefighters. The fire has been extinguished, but a cause has not yet been determined.
