On March 18th, 1937 the worst school disaster in American history took place right here in East Texas. It was the New London school explosion, which was the result of a natural gas leak.

ETX brothers wanted for rape caught in Hawaii leaving country

Two wanted fugitives from East Texas were caught far from home Friday morning. At 10:30 a.m., or 5:30 a.m. Hawaii time, Tarius Manuere, 43, and Noah Manuere, 40, both of Corsicana, were arrested in Honolulu, Hawaii.
