Firefighters extinguish Flint house fire

Flint — Fire crews extinguished a house fire shortly after noon Tuesday in Flint. Officials say the fire started around 11 a.m. in the 3000 block of Yasmeen Circle. No injuries were reported.

UPDATE: Nearly 800 homes still without power in East Texas

Motor home fire on I-20; westbound lanes closed

Smith County — Officials tell KFXK the motor home caught fire while driving on the interstate. All of the passengers were able to escape the vehicle before it was engulfed in flames.

Harrison County 9-year old allegedly stabs man in back

Harrison County deputies are investigating an incident where a 9-year old allegedly stabbed a man. It happened Monday night shortly after 8 p.m. in the 6200 block of FM 9 South.

Fire crews in Smith County responding to unattended grass fire

Fire officials say the trash that was being burned was illegal trash, such as tires and copper wire. Environmental services are being called out to investigate the situation and if needed, issues tickets.

Smith County crews responding to abandoned building fire

Smith County — Smith County officials confirm crews are responding to a structure fire at the intersection of Highway 271 and Laney Road. The building on fire is the 2000 Far West Club, an abandoned building.

Nearly 2,000 homes without power in Tyler

Tyler — Shortly after 3 p.m., nearly 2,000 Oncor customers lost power in Tyler. The cause is unknown at this time. Crews are working to restore power
