Rusk County officials arrest 7 on drug charges

RUSK COUNTY — On Sunday, the Rusk County Narcotics Division, along with Henderson Police Department executed search warrants at a resident in the 4000 block and 5000 block of County Road 3175, in Mt. Enterprise, Texas.

Plane theft suspect indicted on meth charges

Six East Texans have been indicted on charges of manufacturing meth by federal authorities, including the man accused of stealing a small airplane from the Athens airport in Feburary.

Two killed, four injured in Gregg County wreck

Two people died and four were injured Sunday morning after a fiery wreck on I-20 in Gregg County. According to DPS, the wreck happened at about 3:00 am in the eastbound lanes of 1-20 near the Highway 42 exit in Gregg County.


It was the 22nd annual Bowl-a-Thon at Green Acres Bowl, where it definitely wasn't the players' skills that got them into the league. Applicants paid fifty dollars a person, in teams a four to enter the Bowl-a-Thon.

Doors opened at ten this morning, and people were already arriving with their antiques and family heirlooms. Appraisals were ten-dollars an item, and twenty dollars for three.

UPDATE: Victim identified in three-car fatal wreck

Tyler Police tell Fox51 that one person is dead after a three car wreck around 2:30 Saturday afternoon on Highway 69 just north of the Loop in Tyler. The man has been identified as 61-year-old Javier Mojarro of Lindale.
