TYLER - After the remnant of a brutal tropical storm that hit North Texas, organizations here in East Texas are ready to lend a hand.
The American red cross is no stranger to disasters and after Wednesday's tornadoes and flooding they're ready to do what they've always done, go to work.
Wednesday's tornadoes and storms raged across north Texas bringing with them devastation and severe flooding damage. The damage was so severe an 18 wheeler was picked up and thrown into a warehouse in downtown Dallas. Four tornadoes and record flooding scattered across North Texas caught many residents by surprise.
While east Texas may have missed the bulk of the storms, the American Red Cross in Smith County is ready to help and if your interested in helping, the Red Cross say's donations are the best way to send aid to those who need it.
