Trinity, Texas (FOX 51) — A juvenile that brought a pistol to a football game back Semptember has been charged with a felony.
After an investigation, officers with the Trinity Police Department charged a 15-year-old male student with unlawful carrying of a weapon in a weapon free zone.
The juvenile was reported to have brought a pistol to the Kountz vs Trinity football game this past September.
Chief Jones took the allegations seriously and with Sgt. Wheeler launched an investigation.
Although the juvenile is a current student at Trinity I.S.D. he was not a Trinity I.S.D. student at the time of the offense.
Information was received that he also brought the pistol to the school but that information could not be proven.
Trinity I.S.D. has taken the appropriate action to make sure the schools are safe in reference to this event.
