Johnson and Johnson issues recalls on more than 34,000 bottles of Tylenol
Johnson and Johnson has issued recalls on more than 34,000 bottles of Tylenol that were made at a plant that has now been closed due to complaints of a musty odor.
The company's McNeil health care unit is issuing a recall of the Tylenol eight-hour extended release caplets.
Metal particles, chemical contamination, and dangerous bacteria have been discovered in some of Tylenol's products, therefore leading to this year's round of recalls.
Johnson and Johnson has recalled more than 300 million bottles and packages of adult and children's medicines over the past 15 months.
