Henderson man arrested after convenience store robbery

One man has been arrested in connection with a Henderson clerk who was robbed at gunpoint early Saturday morning.

According to Lt. Craig Sweeney, Henderson police officers were dispatched to Fast Stop North in the 100 block of Kilgore Drive at about 3:15 a.m. in connection with a robbery.

The clerk told officers that one suspect was pointing a weapon at the clerk while the other person removed a "small amount of cash" from the register, then fled the scene, Sweeney said.
