Athens, Texas (FOX 51) — Henderson County deputies arrested two people over the weekend after discovering a large amount of methamphetamines during a traffic stop.
Authorities arrested Brian Walker and Michael Jessep for manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance > 4 grams < 200 grams, a first degree felony. A deputy found the stash after searching a vehicle on Highway 198 near Payne Springs; meth, drug paraphernalia and a "large quantity" of cash was found, according to the Henderson County Sheriff's Office.
The duo faces up to 99 years in prison and a $10,000 fine. The suspects were booked into the Henderson County Justice Center in Athens.
