HALLSVILLE- A Hallsville school board meeting ends with the superintendent taking a leave of absence.

Hallsville ISD superintendent Greg Wright made the request after Monday night;s board of trustee's meeting.

Some of the district's parents, and a trustee have asked Wright to step down after the district spent more than 12-million dollars that was supposed to go to the state.
