Hallsville man faces 5 years in jail for dealing pot
TYLER, TX — A Hallsville man faces up to 5 years in prison for dealing marijuana in East Texas
Ty Hardin, 47, pleaded guilty to the charge of possession with intent to distribute marijuana, according to the U.S. Department of Justice.
Hardin was indicted by a Grand Jury on March 8, 2012 along with one co-defendant. According to court documents, Hardin and another person agreed to acquire and distribute pot in East Texas and elsewhere before November 1, 2011. Hardin and his co-defendant possessed more than 5 kilograms of marijuana.
Hardin faces no more than 5 years in prison, a $250,000 fine and at least 2 years of supervised release.
