Tyler’s Liberty Hall is serving up thrillers in preparation for Halloween with a little comedy thrown in to keep things light.
First up will be Jonathan Demme’s thriller The Silence of the Lambs, showing Thursday, Oct. 27 at 7 p.m. Entrance is $5.
“For a mere $5, this movie is a great way to get in the mood for Halloween and enjoy a night out,” said Anne Payne, Liberty Hall Manager.
Then on Friday, Oct. 28 at 8 p.m., Liberty Hall will host its first foray into comedy with Monique Marvez. Monique comes to us from San Diego, California but she has roots right here in Texas.
“Monique graduated from Humble High School,” added Payne. “She is so excited to be bringing the laughs back to her home state of Texas.”
Monique brings with her comedian Kyle Fitzgerald, an ex-NFL player who now does his own stand-up routine. He and Monique have been working together for several years. The show is called “Cougar and Pray” and is assured to be a night of hilarious entertainment for all.
More information about Monique can be found at www.moniquemarvez.com . Tickets are $20 per person and box seats are available for $80.
And finally on Monday, Oct. 31, Halloween night, the Liberty will offer a unique opportunity to see the original John Carpenter’s Halloween from 1978 on the big screen. The movie will start at 8 p.m., and costumes are encouraged. Enjoy Trick or Treating at the Liberty!
Movie tickets are $5 and all tickets can be purchased online at www.libertytyler.com, or at the theater doors. Doors open 30 minutes prior to show times.
