LONGVIEW - On Wednesday, Firefighters battled a house fire in the 1700 block of Timpson Street around 3 p.m..

The fire engulfed the house in flames and destroyed it.

One woman was treated for smoke inhalation. Officials say she ran back into the house to save a pet snake.

No firefighters were injured.
