Longview — One man has died following a Wednesday afternoon wreck on Texas 149 near Elderville.

Traffic lanes were shut down after the crash, which involved a tractor trailer and a flatbed pickup truck.

Justice of the Peace Sam Lawson said he pronounced the driver of the truck dead at 12:47 p.m. Troopers are still working to identify the man, Lawson said.

Emergency personnel extinguished the truck, which caught fire during the wreck.
