ETX woman arrested for using counterfeit money to pay for fast food

An Ore City woman was arrested Monday after police were called to a forgery in progress.

Dacquri R. Wright, 20, was arrested for a thrid degree felony and taken to the Gregg County Jail.

At 4:47 p.m., July 29th, Longview Police officers responded to the 700 Block of West Marshall Avenue on reports of forgery.

When officers arrived, they were told a white female in a green car, later identified as Wright, attempted to pay for her fast food order with a counterfeit $100.00 bill.

Police located Wright in the drive-thru of the restaurant and arrested her without incident.
