The Nacogdoches County Sheriff's Office has arrested an East Texas man on drug charges after a traffic stop Tuesday night.

It happened at 11 p.m on Highway 59 south at County Road 524 when deputies stopped a vehicle for a traffic offense.

Deputies found that the driver was nervous and had an outstanding warrant for his arrest for a previous traffic offense.

Deputies arrested the driver, Brandon Sealy, 34, of Nacogdoches, for the warrant.

Officials also obtained consent to search the vehicle. During the search, officers found 8 grams of methamphetamine that was packaged for sale, along with digital scales and other drug paraphernalia. Authorities also found pills inside the motor vehicle that were not prescribed to Sealy.
