Nacogdoches, Texas (FOX 51) — The Nacogdoches County Sheriff's Office has arrested an East Texas man on drug charges after a traffic stop Tuesday night.
It happened at 11 p.m on Highway 59 south at County Road 524 when deputies stopped a vehicle for a traffic offense.
Deputies found that the driver was nervous and had an outstanding warrant for his arrest for a previous traffic offense.
Deputies arrested the driver, Brandon Sealy, 34, of Nacogdoches, for the warrant.
Officials also obtained consent to search the vehicle. During the search, officers found 8 grams of methamphetamine that was packaged for sale, along with digital scales and other drug paraphernalia. Authorities also found pills inside the motor vehicle that were not prescribed to Sealy.
Sealy was arrested at the scene and taken to Nacogdoches County Jail. He was charged with manufacturing or delivery of a controlled substance and outstanding warrant for his arrest for a traffic offense.
His bond was set at $17,500.
