ETX convicted felon wanted for gun possession, assault of a family member arrested

The Angelina County Sheriff's office has arrested and East Texas convicted felon on a multiple warrants, one being federal.

Richard Gee, Jr., 30, was arrested, Friday morning, on a federal warrant for possession of a firearm by a prohibited person and also for a Houston County warrant for assaulting a family member by impeding their breathing.

Gee, Jr., was also arrested in August, 2013, along with his father Richard A. Gee, Sr., after a routine traffic stop revealed the crime-commiting duo were in possession of Methamphetamine and attempted to run from the police. Gee, Jr. was charged with evading arrest, possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of a firearm in that arrest.

Gee was booked into the Angelina County Sheriff's Office and a bond has not yet been set.
