Ellis Rehab "Just for Kids", in Tyler, is closing.

The facility provides physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech-language pathology for children.

Representatives at heir main clinic site, located at 5609 Donnybrook Avenue in Tyler, tell KETK, that they are closing "to maintain the least possible damage to everyone concerned."

The exact reason for the closure has not been confirmed.

The director of the clinic says they are notifying their clients, and they will provide them with a list of other pediatric doctors who will be able to provide therapy services for their children.

He tells KETK that the clinic will be maintaining medical records.

The clinic's website says Ellis Rehab was "the first facility of its kind in the Tyler area and has become known according to many physicians as the premier facility treating children in the region."

The closure will affect many East Texans. The clinic's director told KETK they have "more patients than ever before".

One patient told KETK, she received a call this afternoon informing her that her child's session scheduled for the next day was canceled, and that the services there would no longer be offered.

KETK will provide more information about the closure as soon as it becomes available.
