Early morning fire destroys barn, $75,000 in farming equipment

An early morning Longview fire destroyed a barn including $75,000 worth of farming equipment.

Longview firefighters responded to a call around 1:00 a.m., about some smoke coming from a building in the 2100 block of East Marshall Avenue.

When officials arrived on scene, a barn was fully engulfed .

At this time, firefighters are still working to extinguish hot spots and have not determined a cause for the fire.

Among the items destroyed in the blaze were a Bobcat tractor, a truck, a lawn mower and hay.
