One man was killed Saturday after a motorcycle and pickup truck collided at the intersection of Palace and Oakwood.

Tyler police say it happened around 5:39 p.m.

Witnesses say the motorcycle had a green light and the truck failed to yield the right of way, turning in front of it, and the motorcycle hit the passenger side of the truck.

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. He is identified as 24-year-old Carlos Edgar Ramirez-Medina of Tyler.

51-year-old Charles Winn, of Tyler, is charged with intoxication manslaughter.
