Deputies make an arrest in Chapel Hill murder case
TYLER - Back in September, 19-year-old Amanda Anderson was found dead in her home. Authorities say she had been shot in the head and on Wednesday deputies made a breakthrough.
Investigators arrested Nathaniel Anderson whose now charged with the murder of his sister. Sheriff J.B. Smith says the evidence was stacked against the 15-year-old from the start. The four bullets shot at Amanda Anderson's head were from at .22 caliber just like the gun in the house. Then there was the blood found on his shirt and on the walls. Back in September, the teen told investigators he'd gone out for a jog when the T.J.C. student was killed in her own home. KETK asked a neighbor of the Andersons weather he was surprised at the arrest. The neighbor said, he was not surprised. With Nathaniel Anderson arrested this afternoon at school, the Anderson family is now at a double loss. First the death of 19-year-old Amanda and now her brother behind bars.
