Lufkin, Texas (FOX 51) — Authorities are looking for three cross-dressing women who stole from a Lufkin business Wednesday afternoon.
According to Sergeant David Casper, at around 2:30 p.m., officers were alerted to a theft in the 1600 block of Atkinson Drive at the Dollar General. Once they arrived at the store, a store employee told police three black females had walked into the store and filled a purse with different products. The bandits then left without paying for the goods.
One of the employees was able to identify the thieves and gave officers their names as well as a license plate number for the car they were driving. Officers have not been able to find the burglars since the report.
A police report shows the thieves took alcohol, electronics and clothing. If caught, they could each face a charge of organized retail theft.
