WOOD COUNTY-The Texas Forest Service tells KETK about 30 to 40 acres are burning on county road 3588 in Wood County.
The fire was reported around 11 a.m.

They are using two bulldozers to help control the fire.

Six different fire departments are currently battling the blaze.

Several houses were threatened but firefighters were able to contain the fire.
