New figures from Britain show more than 5,000 British teens were onto their second abortion. For over 60 British teenagers - it's their fourth abortion.

Today we spoke with Planned Parenthood who says that abortion rates here in the U.S. have been decreasing for the last 30 years.

But they say the number of teens having babies in Texas is pretty high, and the number of teens in Texas having multiple births is higher than anywhere in the nation.

"Nobody likes abortion. But no other organization does more to try to prevent the need for abortions than Planned Parenthood because we are working everyday to make birth control and sexual education information more accessible to everyone and that's for teens and adults alike," said Holly Morgan with Planned Parenthood, North Texas.

Living Alternatives is a pro-life organization with a location in Tyler. Darlene Ryan says that teens tend to make better decisions if there is a strong support system.

"If she has a really strong support system, for herself as an individual, we have found that more of those girls are going to parent and they're going to make better choices for themselves and their babies and you don't tend to find them having multiple pregnancies and multiple abortions," said Darlene Ryan with Living Alternatives.
