BREAKING: Dzhokhar Tsarnaev will not be treated as an enemy combatant

According to White House Press Secretary, Jay Carney, Boston bombings suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, will not be treated as an enemy combatant.

Charges have been filed against Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, including conspiring to use weapon of mass destruction against persons and property in U.S. resulting in death, and were read to him in his hospital room, in the presence of a federal magistrate. If convicted, Tsarnaev could face the death penalty.

Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, 19,  and his brother, Tamerlan Tsarnaev, 26, were allegedly behind the Boston Marathon bombings that took place on Monday, May 15.

Tamerlan Tsarnaev was pronounced dead after a shootout with authorities following the shooting of MIT police officer, Sean Collier, 26.

Dzhokhar Tsarnaev is reported to be communicating with officials by writing, after having suffered an injury to his neck after from the shootout.
