
Bowie County, TX — A man is behind bars in Bowie County for allegedly transporting a large amount of pseudoephedrine pills.
Authorities arrested Jeremiah Laray Cooper, 39, for possession, or transport certain chemicals with intent to manufacture a controlled substance.
On Monday, Bowie County deputies responded to reports of a reckless driver on I-30 East. A deputy spotted the vehicle driving erratically and pulled the truck over.
An open container of beer was inside the pickup. With the help of a drug sniffing dog, a search revealed two plastic bags containing 3,706 pseudoephedrine pills.
Cooper was arrested and is currently in the Bowie County Jail. His bond is set at $50,000.
