Democratic gubernatorial candidate Bill White stopped in Tyler on Monday.
The former Houston mayor discussed issues facing Texas including jobs, education and his new plan to protect the border. He says the state needs to cut taxes, lower the dropout rate and secure the border.
White also shared his appreciation for Labor Day.
