Authorities are asking the public's help in catching the person(s) responsible for hitting a jogger near the Stephen F. Austin campus.

On Friday, May 30, a female was running south on the sidewalk in the 2500 block of North University Drive when she was hit by an unknown vehicle between 9:10 and 9:20 a.m. She was later found with serious injuries near the road and just north of the commuter lot of the SFASU campus.

The victim’s injuries lead investigators to believe she was struck by an unknown southbound vehicle. The automobile involved should have some passenger side damage and/or a damaged passenger side rear view mirror.

Nacogdoches Crime Stopper is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest or grand jury indictment of the person driving the vehicle in this incident. ALL CALLS ARE CONFIDENTIAL AND YOU NEVER HAVE TO GIVE YOUR NAME.
