Following a theft complaint on Monday, the Trinity Police Department arrested four suspects and charged them with public intoxication.

On March 25, 2013, around 1:30 p.m., Chief Steven Jones of the TPD arrested Mike Harris, Christopher Allen, Roy Proctor and Jennifer Davis and charged them with misdemeanor public intoxication.

Officers were called to a local store after employees reported multiple suspects were involved in an attempted theft of property. Before officers arrived, Davis, Allen and Proctor ran to a local grocery store with a four-year-old boy. Harris remained on scene and was arrested.

The three alleged robbers that fled were found at the grocery store and arrested.

The stolen property was found in the back of a truck the suspects were in. The driver, whom was not intoxicated and was in the store during the incident, was not taken in to custody.

Sergeant Randy Wheeler is conducting a full investigation. When he is finished, warrants will be issued for those believed to be involved in the actual theft of property.

The property was recovered from the back of a truck the suspects were in. She was released on scene.

The amount of property recovered was valued at $314.93 to include nine kids' chairs, 19 kids' pools, four adult chairs, and three 12-packs of soda.
