On June 7, 2010 at around 3:20 pm, the Longview Police Department Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) Team assisted the Gregg County Organized Drug Enforcement (CODE) Unit with a narcotics search warrant at a residence located at 1406 B Timpson Street.

As the SWAT Team made entry into the residence, two subjects dove out of a rear window and attempted to flee. SWAT members captured the two subjects and investigators located crack cocaine, marijuana and a handgun inside of the residence.

Investigators arrested Edward Monte Mapps and Dramarcus Dewayne Spratling and booked them into the Gregg County Jail.
