U.S. (CNN) — The American Institute of Economic Research has released its top 75 College Destinations Index from 2012.
The study is based on the following categories:
- Earning potential among others.
The cities were divided up into five different categories based on the size of their population.
Here's how Texas cities stacked up:
For the "large metropolitan" category: Houston came in 9th and was followed by Dallas at 10th.
For the "midsize metropolitan" category: Austin came in 2nd, and San Antonio at 15th.
For the "small metropolitan" category: Lubbock was 11th and Killeen was 19th.
- For the "college towns" category: College Station ranked 11th.
