61-year-old man shot at 'Wild Bunch Club' in Tyler

Tyler Police say a 61-year-old man was shot in his right arm early this morning in front of a club in Tyler.

Officers were dispatched to the "Wild Bunch Club" on the 1700-block of North Palace around 2 this morning.

Callers reported hearing several gunshots.

Sgt. Bill Goecking tells Fox51, the only thing they could gather from anyone on scene is that witnesses believe someone in a white SUV-type vehicle may have fired the shots and took off.

The man shot has been identified as 61-year-old Odis Bagley.

He was taken to a local hospital.

"The bullet had come through the subject's right arm and it actually had creased and burned the front part of his chest.  So it just missed going into the chest cavity which would have been obviously a much more severe, possibly mortal injury," Goecking said.

Police tell Fox 51, they are still investigating the incident and they're still looking for witnesses or anyone that knows anything about the shooting.

Goecking says to call the Tyler Police or Crimestoppers if you have any information.
