Scurry, Tx — Two people are dead following a plane crash in Kaufman County this morning.

At 11 a.m., authorities were alerted to a privately owned plane that had wrecked with two people on board in the Scurry area. The aircraft was owned by an unnamed Dallas businessman, according to the Kaufman County Sheriff's Office.

The identity of both individuals has not been released at this time.

The aircraft is was an L-29 Delfin, which is a vintage fighter jet trainer.
