
Local law enforcement agencies arrested 11 parents for failure to pay child support as part of a round-up through the Texas Attorney General’s Office.
Janece Rolfe, spokeswoman for the attorney general’s office, said the seven-day sweep began this past Friday and concluded Thursday morning.
“It was very successful with the arrest of 11 parents who owe child support,” she said in a telephone interview, noting the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office and Marshall Police Department worked together making the arrests.
