The Tyler Parks and Recreation Department’s 2012 Azalea Trails Arts and Crafts Fair at Bergfeld Park is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, March 24 and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, March 25.
More than 90 vendors will offer handmade items such as pottery, clothing, jewelry, candles, floral arrangements, woodcrafts, oil and mixed media paintings, stained glass and much, much more. Items will be on display for your enjoyment. Visitors and locals are encouraged to attend the Arts and Crafts fair as they view and tour the historical homes and gardens. Admission is free.
Kid’s Zone, which includes a bungee jump, rock wall and bounce houses is available for a fee. There will be new concession vendors this year also.
Shoppers are encouraged to stick around Bergfeld Park on Saturday for a free concert in the park. The local favorite jazz and gospel band “George Faber and Friends” will perform in the Bergfeld Park amphitheater from 6 to 8 p.m. following the Arts and Crafts Fair.
Concession stands from the Arts and Crafts Fair will stay open for the concert.
