Rush Limbaugh admitted to Honolulu hospital
HONOLULU (AP) - Chest pains have put conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh in a Honolulu hospital where he's said to be resting comfortably.
His radio program says Limbaugh, who was on vacation, "appreciates your prayers and well wishes." His program says updates will be posted on his Web site and his airwaves.
Kit Carson, Limbaugh's chief of staff, told The Associated Press that he had no further information.
He said the 58-year-old left for his usual Christmas vacation on Dec. 23 and is due to return to his show on Jan. 4. Carson didn't have any information on whether that schedule would change.
Before the program statement, Honolulu television station KITV reported Limbaugh was in serious condition.
The report said that Limbaugh was seen golfing at a country club next to his hotel earlier this week.
