City releases Good Friday schedule
Tyler — City offices will observe the following holiday schedule on Friday, April 6 for Good Friday.
Holiday Garbage Collection
The Tyler Solid Waste office will be OPEN on Friday, April 6. There will be no change to the garbage collection schedule.
The Greenwood Farms Landfill, located at 12920 Farm to Market Road 2767, also will be open on Good Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Tyler Pounds Regional Airport
Tyler Pounds Regional Airport will be open through the holiday.
The airport administrative offices will be closed on Friday, April 6. Customers should contact their airline or check the airport website at www.TylerAirport.com for special holiday travel schedules.
Tyler Public Library
The Tyler Public Library will be closed on Friday, April 6. The Library will operate normal hours on Saturday, April 7 and be closed on Easter, Sunday, April 8.
Tyler Transit Schedule
There will be no fixed-route or paratransit service on Friday, April 6. Service will resume on Saturday, April 7.
Tyler Municipal Court
Tyler Municipal Court will be closed on Friday, April 6. The Court will resume normal hours on Monday, April 9.
Gallery Main Street
Gallery Main Street will be closed on Friday, April 6. The Gallery will resume normal hours on Saturday, April 7.
Tyler Parks and Recreation
The Tyler Parks and Recreation administrative offices, the Senior Citizens Center and the Glass Recreation Center will be closed on Friday, April 6.
The Goodman Museum will be closed on Friday, April 6 and will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 7.
The Rose Garden Center will be closed on Friday, April 6 and on Easter Sunday, April 8. The Rose Garden is open from dawn to dusk seven days a week and will remain open throughout the holiday.
Tyler Water Utilities
The TWU Business Office will be closed on Friday, April 6. Anyone wishing to make a payment can place it in one of the two available drop boxes. There is one box located in front of the office at 511 Locust Street and a drive-up box in the Brookshire's parking lot on the corner of South Broadway Avenue and Rice Road. The payment will be credited on the next business day. Please do not drop cash into these boxes.
