Lufkin, Texas — A series of alleged bleach attack victims testified in day three of Kimberly Saenz’s capital murder trial, explaining how their lives have been impacted by the events of April 2008.
Taking the stand just before lunch, Debra Oates recalled how on April 26, 2008, Saenz, now 38, gave her a medication that produced a side effect to which she was not accustomed.
“It felt like every bone in my body was being crushed and my side wouldn’t stop bleeding,” Oates said. “I had a funny taste in my mouth and I asked her, ‘What did you give me?’”
