Viva Italia! at FRESH March 15th -24th , they will celebrate local flavors with international flair. Come savor the best of Italy this year. You can learn about Italian wines and how to cook just like momma mia! And they will keep you entertained at our 801 Grill on the Patio with live and local music each Friday and Saturday evening.

Be prepared for a tasting tour all throughout FRESH. During Global Flavors Italy, you can sample dozens of our Italian products, new Chef Prepared items, new gelato flavors, cooking demos, guest Chefs and join us at their first ever Pizza Party on the Patio.

Below is the recipe for the Panzanella Salad that Myste prepared on our show.

 

1 FRESH focaccia bread, cubed and toasted
Salt & Pepper to taste
1 hot house cucumber, sliced
½ yellow bell pepper, diced
20 basil leaves, coarsely chopped
3 Tbls of capers
1 pint of cherry tomatoes, cut in half

For the vinaigrette:

1 teaspoon finely minced garlic
1/2 teaspoon Dijon mustard
3 tablespoons white balsamic vinegar
1/2 cup good olive oil
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Cube and toast focaccia bread. For the vinaigrette, whisk all the ingredients together until smooth.
In a large bowl, mix the tomatoes, cucumber, yellow pepper, basil, and capers. Add the bread cubes and toss with the vinaigrette. Season liberally with salt and pepper. Allow the salad to sit for about 10 mins for the flavors to blend. Then enjoy!
