Alaina Cannon, a cancer survivor/Tri-athlete and Erica Osburne Tri-athlete/Mentor share their inspirational story with Fox 51 Today.

The two women started off as fellow teachers and grew to be much more when Alaina was diagnosed with lymphoma and she was told she would never be able to compete in any endurance type sport.

Erica then became her "tri-athlon angel" and showed her the ropes to training, the two have been competing in events together ever since.
