LINDALE MUSIC FEST~ A FAMILY EVENT
EAST TEXANS CONTRIBUTE TO NATIONAL MUSIC SCENE
East Texas is a treasure trove of discovered and undiscovered musical talent. Please join us in Lindale, TX as we showcase a little of each with very talented artists performing a broad genre of music.
The Lindale Convention & Visitors Board is excited to announce our second annual Lindale Music Fest. The event will kick-off with the Battle of the Bands, a competition for the title of “Lindale Idol.” The artist line-up will feature local artists performing a variety of musical genres.
The festival would not be complete without showcasing our headliner Bongo and the Point. This East Texas band, features acoustic guitar, bass, drums, and lush harmonies usually associated exclusively with family members. People have compared their vocal sound to The Beach Boys, The Bee Gees, The Four Seasons, The Hollies, and The Everly Brothers. After working in the recording studio for a few years, they have been playing live locally since 2007.
Also featured is the extraordinary Lady Chazz and the Tramps! Lady Chazz & The Tramps is a great act that brings you the best of Motown, R&B and Contemporary Pop music from the 50's to the present! This group delivers a first class show that is highly entertaining and filled with audience participation. Lady Chazz and Daddy Rich have performed all across the United States, Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia, and Guam in clubs, casinos, resorts, and perform regularly in East Texas and Louisiana.
Complete artist line-up includes: Karleigh Page, Benjamin Clark Band, Living Proof, Michael Miller Band, Lady Chazz, and Bongo and the Point
Live entertainment, great food, arts & crafts , karaoke and games for the kids.
