This famed western-swing, boogie, and roots-music outfit, hit the popular scene in 1974 when “Choo Choo Ch’Boogie” from their second album became their first chart single. They were inducted into the Austin Music Hall of Fame, appeared 11 times on “Austin City Limits,” and swept the Austin Music Awards for Best Band, Best Country Band and four other prestigious awards.
