Texarkana, Tx (Fox 51) — Texarkana, Tx (KETK) — U.S. Attorney John M. Bales announced Tuesday a Texarkana man has been sentenced to federal prison for a Texarkana bank robbery.
On October 30, 2012, Tenetrius Manning, 19, pleaded guilty to bank robbery and was sentenced to 7 years in federal prison by U.S. District Judge Michael H. Schneider. Manning was also ordered to pay the bank $3,490.99.
On August 27, 2012, Manning went to a local bank in Texarkana and gave a bank teller a note demanding money. Manning then left the bank with the cash before being caught by police.
Manning admitted to the charges following his arrest.
On September 12, 2012, Manning was indicted by a federal grand jury and charged with bank robbery.
